Accomodation

All accomodation is situated in Kortrijk, the main city 5 km from Wevelgem. It takes a 15 min busride (€ 1.5) to get there. Click here for timetables. Or, if you like, a 10 min cabride (€ 12).

Kortrijk doesn’t have too many skatespots to offer. There are some skateable curbs and manualpads spreaded throughout the city center. The most famous spot in Kortrijk is the Team Pain Bowl on the banks of the river Leie. Make sure to session it during your stay!

Restaurants

Belgium’s best known dish is french fries. You can get the best in little cabins in the streets, known as ‘frituur’. Most of them stay open very late. There are lots of restaurants in the city, but be careful because, some of them are pricy. Here are some of our favorites:

Sweet Lime Kasteelkaai 4 - 8500 Kortrijk Serves healthy snacks and great cocktails. Located on the riverbank in the same street of Juice Club, where the official contest party will take place. Take the bus direction Kortrijk Xpo, there’s a bus every 15 min, the restaurant is just in front of Kortrijk Xpo. Around the corner there are lots of cafés, a cinema, a pool hall and a Mc Donalds.
